Is Floating for you? Can it benefit you?

Some people fall in love with floating after the first session, some never take to it, don’t get it. And that’s fine, we’re not all predisposed to enjoying or appreciate the same things. Same goes for taste in food, taste in furniture, cars, even people.

It took me 3 sessions to appreciate the benefits of floating. It was initially really hard to disconnect and switch off but it is getting better and better and I now enjoy 90 minute floats.

Some well known sports stars and celebrities use float tanks regularly. MVP-class NBA player, Stephen Curry, loves floating so much he decided to make his own promotional video for it, explaining how he uses the benefits of floating to train his mind.

Manchester United Midfielder, Wayne Rooney, owns his own float tank, and spends up to 10 hours a week to help recover from injuries and get back to training ahead of schedule.

We’ve had a few professional sportsmen coming into Flotarium including recently, Dylan  Hayes from Grenoble Rugby club in France, who really enjoyed the experience.People come to Flotarium for all sorts of reasons.

To relax, to distress, to meditate and to experience the relaxing and therapeutic advantages of the magnesium rich, zero gravity environment.

If you’ve ever wondered what it may be like come and try it. It may be for you, it might not. You’ll never know until you’ve tried.
