
EMT utilizes intense physical exercise (Muay Thai) and tabatas (HIIT) exercises, breathing exercises, (A combination of the Wim Hof Method and also some yogic stretching) fasting routines with a ketogenic diet, cold therapy, sensory deprivation (float tanks) and meditation/visualization to break destructive unhealthy habits and live a full, healthy life.
Paul Eduardo Arguelles is one of the two head instructors and founders at EMI, working alongside Mauricio, fellow tutor and co-founder of Everest. Both have illustrious histories, academically and athletically. Paul, a psychologist, has fought professionally all around the world winning a Max Muay Thai tournament in Bangkok and Kunlun Fight in Shenzhen, China. No mean feat.
Mauricio was born in Uruguay, excelling and competing In Muay Thai, Jui Jitsu, Football, Tennis and swimming. He holds a degree in Physical Education and , as well as combining his work with his students at EMT is working toward his second degree in chemistry.
Both are passionate people who love Muay Thai and have been teaching it successfully for many years helping people become healthier, stronger and happier. Combining old knowledge with new technology they are consistently breaking new boundaries in search of growth opportunities.
